Well, for many reasons. First, it’s proved that kettlebell workouts increase the heart rate and burn more calories than the same exercises without kettlebells. If you check out my free PDF file below, you’ll see that kettlebell workouts are on the top in terms of intensity. This means they allow to burn a lot of fat! That’s what we want, right?
Second, strength exercises improve insulin sensitivity. It helps you lose weight on your belly and improve health. Another bonus – you tone and build your muscles while working with kettlebells!
What kettlebell do you need?
It will depend on your fitness level and types of exercises you want to do. I think it’s optimal to have a set of kettlebells from 4kg to 10kg. Heavier weight may be used for such exercises like squats and

This workout is great for beginners because all the exercises are well explained and performed
2. 30 Min HIIT Kettlebell Workout by HASfit
I love this YouTube channel and especially their kettlebell workouts. They are not so exhausting as many others, I even find them to be kind of relaxing, but at the same time, they make you sweat and feel that burn!
The male couch is happened to be a Russian guy. As I am Russian too, I was so happy when I’ve figured it out. Haha, it always happens with me 🙂
3. 8-Minute Tabata Kettlebell Workout by Inger Houghton
This short (but intense!) workout consists of only 2 exercises. But it will definitely make you sweat like crazy. So it’s a great workout if you are short on time but want to burn extra fat.
4. 20-Minute Kettlebell Workout by Popsugar
This workout is focused on squads and deadlifts. Such compound movements are very effective in burning calories. Legs have the largest muscles so when you target them you burn lots of calories.
5. Full-Body Kettlebell Workout by MadFit
I love this one because it targets outer sides of thighs (that I’m always up to!), abs and shoulders. It takes 15 minute only but you will definitely feel the burn.

Kettlebell workouts have become my recent favorites (right after HIIT). Sometimes if I get tired of my standard body-weight HIIT workouts, I grab my kettlebell and just crush it! Haha, just kidding, sometimes I don’t feel like killing it at all. But I still continue to exercise, because any activity is better than just sitting on a coach, you know 🙂
